Xavier Bourgois has more than 14 years experience in Mobile Telecommunications. He joined Belgacom Mobile as Project Engineer in 1997 where he was responsible for the introduction of Prepaid Voice Roaming in 1999 and Prepaid SMS roaming in 2001. Later on he moved to the Marketing Department as a Product Manager for Prepaid Roaming.
In 2008 he started working for Belgacom International Carrier Services as Senior Business Development Manager for Roaming hub. Today Xavier is Senior Roaming Product Manager in charge of the BICS Open Connectivity Roaming Hub.
Abdulraheem Aqeel Al Zarouni

Abdulraheem Aqeel Al Zarouni is Vice President of Service Delivery for Etisalat Carrier & Wholesale Services, responsible for managing the service delivery of all Etisalat’s international services. Al Zarouni joined Etisalat in 1990 as a Traffic Engineer and held several positions of increasing responsibility over the years including Chief Engineer. In 2004, he moved to Mobily Saudi Arabia as the Director International Operations, laying the foundation for Mobily’s international footprint.
After moving back to the UAE in 2007, among his other responsibilities, as head of Service Delivery he has been leading the expansion of Etisalat’s Signalling and related infrastructure leading to enhancement of Etisalat Roaming Platform.
Etisalat C&WS received couple of awards such as; Capacity’s Best Middle East Wholesale Operator for three consecutive years (2008, 2009, 2010).
He has a Bachelor of Science in Electronic Engineering from DeVry Institute of Technology in Atlanta, Georgia, USA and is in the final stages of obtaining his MBA from Higher Colleges Technology, Abu Dhabi.
Chris Lengyel

As Director of Product Management, Chris Lengyel is responsible for refining iBasis’ products and developing new offerings to address customer needs and market opportunities in international voice services. He brings more than a decade of telecommunications industry marketing expertise to iBasis. Prior to joining the company he lead market development and product marketing efforts as Market Development Manager, for Cantata Technology, Inc. Prior to joining Cantata, Mr. Lengyel served as Chief Technical Officer of Auris Technology, a premier hosted service provider for the prepaid industry. During his tenure at Auris, Mr. Lengyel led the development and operational efforts for a web-based hosted service platform based upon the Excel Switching platform. Mr. Lengyel has also served as Vice President of Switch Operations at Radiant Telecom and was a key architect of the Ntera VoIP network. Mr. Lengyel holds a BSEE from the University of Connecticut, School of Engineering.

As Product Marketing Manager in Turkcell Technology, Eda is responsible for all marketing activities related to Turkcell Technology’s product portfolio including roaming family of products.
She started her career in Beko as a Software Engineer in R&D department, where she later assumed Project Management Role. She has been transferred to Product Management and became the Product Manager for display devices. Before starting in Turkcell Technology, she has also worked for Turk Telekom as Customer Insight Manager.
She holds MBA and Master of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering degrees with academic publications in the field of signal processing and corporate strategy.

Having in depth knowledge about the roaming market in Turkey and market trends both in retail and wholesale roaming qualifies me to speak about this subject.
